Grim Fandango random exits

This is a discussion about Grim Fandango random exits in the Windows Games category; Is anyone else having problems running GF on Win2K? It simply exits semi-randomly, but always when running a speech line. Using an SB16 (WDM driver) and a TNT with v3. 75 Detonators. (same problem also with earlier TNT drivers).

Have you installed any patches from Lucas Arts? The shipping version actually did this with some configs in Win9x. Very annoying...

Also I don't know if you knew this or not but copying the files off of the CD to your HD improves Grim Fandagos speed between scenes SIGNIFICANTLY! Just read the readme for GM to find out how to do it.

OP
Yup, I have installed the latest patch from
LucasArts... and I've copied the files to
disk.

(I don't know if this is related, but in other DX games such as Rogue Squadron, I can't use the keyboard at all. It's just dead.)
