hello folks, i am hoping one of you can help me. i just loaded win2k rc1(2072) and half life. every time i load hl i just get a message that "hl.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows you will need to restart the program" well i have tried many different updated video drivers and i am not sure what is causing the problem. my video card is brand new. i just got a creative labs tnt2 ultra. does anyone know what the problem could be, where i can view this error log, and/or where i should start? thanks-

Patch it all the way up to the latest version cause I have the same set up and it runs great.

could you please tell me what driver you are using. i think i am currenlty using the newest reference driver from nvidia.com (but i have tried different drivers.. and nothing gets me passed the startup) so i just don't know if that is the problem.

i have tried downloading the patches before, but that didn't seem to work. once time i couldn't find one to update me from the initial version all the way up to the most recent. where can i get that? i think i tried planethalflife. thanks.
