Halflife / Counter-Strike Tweak/HL removal
This is a discussion about Halflife / Counter-Strike Tweak/HL removal in the Windows Games category; I have a 1 GB hdd I'm using to install Win98SE, and CounterStrike(as a server). I've successfully removed TFC, but I want to get rid of as much worthless crap from HL as possible, leaving me with Counterstrike alone? The above is all that is required for a dedicated server. Just extract the CS patch to the server folder your set.

why would anyone run a server on 98se?(u never get below under 50 ms ping no matter what connection youre on) try nt4 (wskt will du just fine) if your low on hd-space

Why 98? Convenience--has USB support, my WinTV will work better on it(I think), and many other game related things...
I've got NT 5 on my other computer--no need to take a step down to 4 on this pc...

And another thing---I want to be able to PLAY CS on it as well from time to time...Dedicated is what it will be used for most, but I still need the option of jumping in and enjoying my 14 FPS on 640x480 Software rendering(OpenGL is 4 )
