Half-Life freezes during game ?
This is a discussion about Half-Life freezes during game ? in the Windows Games category; I've got my Half-Life working, but after like 5-15 min of play it freezes. Have got all the latest drivers for my hardware except my soundcard(their homepage is down). Anybody know what's wrong? I've got my Half-Life working,
but after like 5-15 min of play it freezes.

ATI Rage II Pro Turbo
Plextor CD-R
Aureal Soundcard
Voodoo2
UDMA66 Controller

i had the same problem with HL and Q2, it would be fine for about 5- 15 mins. then it would freeze/hard crash and reboot. my problem was that the bios for my mobo was not w2k compatible. i updated the bios and everything runs great now. hope this helps
