It installed correctly for me but when I run it, it locks up my system, and i have to hard reboot it I'm really pissed about this. .

Nm.... I got it. I installed the GL patch from matlab's website... and all is well now
Hmmm, it works fine for me. I have noticed in the benchmark that the 3d time is considerably slower. Whats the deal on the gl patch?

If you go to the web site.... they offer a free GL upgrade patch.... and that's what got it working for me
it was under support... i found it pretty east... so it can't be that hard!
