HD Activity LED
This is a discussion about HD Activity LED in the Windows Hardware category; Even since I installed Win2k RC2 my HD light has been pretending to be a power light. No flashing, nothing. It's on when my computer is on. It still works fine in Win98 however. Yesterday it was working in Win2k for a few hours which had me extremely confused, and now today it isn't again and I'm even more confused.

I have this happen on my server. Everthing else is working fine and has for two months. I have asked several people and they all say the same thing: Who konws?
try fooling around with the ide connectors and cables. I had the same problem and I just fiddled around with the cables and connectors and it works now. The other thing is try a different configuration or the drives and cdroms.
