Hi Guys
Well I am prolly the first female gamer to run 2000 over here and so far so good! I have TWO questions for ya's:
What are the new 3dfx Beta drivers like?? I am currently running drivers from
and they have been great. I tried Anthony Toste's drivers and altho they LOOKED fab - it chugged my system.
I also notice there is a Soundware 3.1 driver set out - as my sound is ok I was wondering what benefits this may have. I would love to get my Liveware running so I can reset my gaming sound preferences.
THanks for any help and hopefully will see you in the channel

Congrats on getting where you are!
As far as LiveWare is concerned, I'd recommend staying well clear until Creative get off the dime and release a W2K-compatible version. The hacked NT4 Liveware drivers can be made to work (with luck and a following wind - YMMV) but it seems to be more trouble than it's worth...

OP
Yeah I kinda agree - all that trouble so I can preset headphone sound - ha! It works for now - if I muck about with it I am *sure* to bugger it up somehow
