Is this an external ADSL modem using the PPP/OE protocal? I have a Westell modem and the only driver disk it came with was for the PPP/OE protocal. But I have a Linksys ADSL router and it handles the protocal itself.

If it is an external modem (I have an Alcatel 1000 ADSL), you don't need any driver as it is seen as any ethernet device. Only the protocol is important (VPN/PPTP or PPPOe) according to what your ISP requests.
