HELP - HP 8100 and NERO

This is a discussion about HELP - HP 8100 and NERO in the Windows Software category; I installed Nero. When I open it, it wont detect my HP 8100 drive. Yes, I installed the ASPI drivers from Sedzar's page correctly. I dont know how to fix it. I'm clueless.

Got DMA enabled on your CDR/W ?
 
If so try using PIO-mode only, woked for me.
 
DMA should never be used on a CDR/W...

How did you get nero to install? I get a message that say nero will support Win2k after the official release.

Use 4.0.8.3 or later.
 
The 4.0.9.1 version is out now and can be downloaded from Ahead's website.
