Help on BP6

This is a discussion about Help on BP6 in the Windows Hardware category; I've followed what I've read on this forum on how to get the ATA66 controller to run under w2k, but I'm still having problems. Infact I've tried 2 installs. It still can't access the drive when I switch my ATA66 drive over to the ATA66 controller after installing on the ATA33 controller.

It still can't access the drive when I switch my ATA66 drive over to the ATA66 controller after installing on the ATA33 controller. I used the ATA66 cables and use a scsi cdrom w/ Adaptec 2940U controller. The only other piece of hardware is my D-link nic card.
Help! I'd really like to get this to work.
Thanks.

If your trying to use the ATA66 for the boot drive it won't work. It seems these drivers only work if the ATA66 drives are secondard drives. Hopefully ABIT or highpoint will come out with new drivers that will alow you to boot from the ATA66 driver. I am sticking with Win98 until then. The ATA66 speed increase is incredible and I can't give it up.
