High Heat 2001 a no go

This is a discussion about High Heat 2001 a no go in the Windows Games category; High Heat 2001 apparantly requires directx 7. 0a to run. This sucks because the demo worked so I haven't worried about making a win 98 partition. Has anyone found a way around this and is there any chance this can be fixed with an updated directx or patch?.
