Hitachi 7500
This is a discussion about Hitachi 7500 in the Windows Hardware category; I am having a problem with this drive. I am using Win2000 and I have it connected as slave with a master CD-R. If I use it as a slave Windows crash. It only works with the previous connection,but the problem is that I cannot read CDs or DVDs from it.
I am having a problem with this drive.I am using Win2000 and I have it connected as slave with a master CD-R.If I use it as a slave Windows crash.It only works with the previous connection,but the problem is that I cannot read CDs or DVDs from it.It recognises DVD movies but I cannot play them with PowerDVD!It displays error messages.When I try to read CDs the following message appears: I/O error.So whats the problem?It's Win2000 or the drive?Also when will there be released a firmware upgrade?Thanks.
