Hmm whats up with Directx
This is a discussion about Hmm whats up with Directx in the Windows Software category; Really odd. Upto last week I was able to use Direct3d in Win2k. Went to play everqeust and it goes no direct3d devices available. !! Loaded dxdiag and lo and behold both direct3d and agp are greyed out and disabled.

Loaded dxdiag and lo and behold both direct3d and agp are greyed out and disabled. My vid card is a TNT2 ultra and I have tried a multitude of reference drivers to get it going but to no avail (the latest being 5.22) Can anyone help?

That happened to me actually, I had to do an emergency recovery using my Windows 2000 cd. I also reinstalled the 5.22 drivers afterwards, and everything returned to normal.
