Hmmm, yet another Hibernation problem!

Hmmmm...
I don't typically have hardware problems with Win2k, and I've been running it for quite some time.
Anyway...
I recently took my Hollywood Plus DVD Decoder out of the system because I got a dedicated DVD Player. The drivers were removed and so was the software. Now, I know that the beta drivers for this device disabled Hibernate, so I was looking forward to using this.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, everytime I try to enter Hibernate mode, the computer just sits there, doing nothing. I have another PC with Win2k installed and this has absolutely no problem with hibernate.
System specs are as follows:
Intel PIII 450 (Not o/c)
192 Mb RAM (PC100)
QDI BrillianX 1S M/Board
Pioneer 6x DVD
Promise Ultra66 IDE Card
SB Live (Using basic driver)
Creative Riva TNT2 Ultra (3.79 Detonators)
anything missing...? Don't think so.
Thanks for any help
