I Have a big problem !!

I want to Install WIN2Kpro on a RAID Stripe (RAID 0 aktually formatted as a FAT32 Partition)

I start the installation and win2k copies the Datas on my Stripe then win2k reboots and wants to have the Drivers for SCSI Drives and I Install the win2k Driver from my Raid Controller ( Promise FastTrak66 RAID)
and the instalation continues without problems until the moment when I should tell win2k the Installation Partition
then a got a Blue Screen and he tells me "No accecible Boot Device Found"

HOW can I manage the win2k installation ??

Many people are having difficulty installing W2K onto single drivers connected to this controller - so much so that the way out is to plug it into an ATA33 for the install, then swap it back once the install of W2K and the ATA66 drivers is complete.

I can tell you from personal experience that installing NT of any flavour onto a drive controller not recognised natively is a real pain - and only better drivers and/or a BIOS upgrade will help.

So the solution is...no solution, until the IHV gets their act together...

Unless...is the volume > 16Gb? Another forum member reported problems with a 20Gb vol not booting...
