how do i edit startup programs
This is a discussion about how do i edit startup programs in the Windows Hardware category; damn seems like everything i install puts its self in the system tray automaticaly and i dont know how to edit these programs in win2k other than the start/programs/startup but the programs i want to remove are not in there but loading theirself never the less

Back up registry before doing this.
run regedit and open folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, CurrentVersion, Run and look for the names of applications running there. Delete only the keys that you know for sure are the programs you want to get rid of.

You can also check the same key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER
