How do I flash a bios in Windows 2000?

This is a discussion about How do I flash a bios in Windows 2000? in the Windows Hardware category; I am trying to flash a new bios for my mobo and I noticed that I cant make a boot disk with format a: /s, I tried to go into safe mode with command prompt and run the flash program but it gave some emm386 memory error.
