How do you disable Master Browser setting on Win2k PRO ?

This is a discussion about How do you disable Master Browser setting on Win2k PRO ? in the Windows Software category; 2195 build. Win2k PRO is announcing itself to my LAN as a master browser causing havoc with my other LAN server. How can i stop it doing this - i cant find anywhere obvious in network control panel. .

Go to your control panel in administrative tools and select services. In services right click on computer browser and select properties. Here you can turn the service OFF etc.
