I had a dual boot system with win98se/win2kpro where win98se is on C: and
win2kpro is on D:.

Recently I formatted my C: partition and reinstalled win98se there. After that I can never boot into win2k.
I guess my previous OS loader got erased. I wonder if there's a way to reinstall/restore
my previous os loader without reinstalling
the whole win2kpro?

try booting off of the win2k cd (or make boot disks) and repairing the win2k installation otherwise you must reinstall win2k

Look for a program called Bootpart. If you can't find it, email me at jra101@home.com, I'll send it to you.
