This is a discussion about HP Scanjet 3300C in the Windows Hardware category; I have read on hardware section HP Scanjet 3300C works under Win2000. It says only installing with the. inf file. I have did it, but with no result. The driver appears correctly, but the compatible twain application to scan don't works.

I'm having the same problem.
Win2K picks the scanner up as a Umax 1220P. using this drive has no effect. Has anyone else had this problem OR know of a workaround. Thx.

I have tried the Win9x driver, and it appears to works (there is a working driver under resources control) but, when I tried to scan, something does wrong and i get a .dll error. However, win2000 does not detect the scan as a umax.
Try to install your scan with the .inf file.
