I have W2KB3 , can I extract DX7 to NT4.0?

This is a discussion about I have W2KB3 , can I extract DX7 to NT4.0? in the Windows Games category; I have NT 4. 0 Workstation with Service Pack 6 installed. I also have the Windows 2000 Advanced Server Beta 3 CD here. . . . . can I extract the DX7 DLLs from W2K and put them in NT 4. 0? If anyone has any ideas, or needs anything from any CDs I have here (hint) let me know.

No. It doesn´t work. DirectX7 from Windows 2000 Beta 3 is not compatible with NT 4.0.
