I just got win2000 Pro in the mail free?
This is a discussion about I just got win2000 Pro in the mail free? in the Windows Software category; It looks like Microsoft sent me a copy of Windows 2000 Pro for no reason. The invoice says price - $0. 00 and on the box there is a sticker that says Promotional Sample. Is this a time limited version? I can't find anything that says so anywhere on the box or the manual.

Did you happen to sign up for Microsoft's Windows 2000 SDK mailing and forget? It was supposed to ship in March.
Of course, I think that was supposed to come with Server too...

yea, i'm signed up with sdk, it comes with win2k pro, server, and adv server and another sh1tty disc. they are 120 day eval's
