My game onced worked and then i uninstalled it due to problems i thought my fiance fixed. Now i can't even install it without getting an error message.I called ea and they said that most games was not made to run on xp. are there any patches that are known to help this problem.I was referred to this site for help....please HEEELLLPPPP!!!!!!

We have SIMS running fine on XP, so it is possible to get it up and running. But you need to provide more info. What does the error msg say?

i have XP also, and i had to re-boot the computer which took off my sims 2, i tryed to re-install it and i am now getting a message saying WINDOWS CANNOT FIND WIN32. what is WIN32? i miss playing sims 2. gosh. it used to work very well on my computer until i re-booted it. is there anyway to get WIN32 back? would playing on a laptop make things harder for me to play sims 2? caz thats what i have been playing it on... well until the re-boot.

There is no such thing a Win32, you may be experiencing problems due to spyware installed. Get your PC scanned with some Antispyware eg Windows Defender:
