Yes w2k does, Have it going at this moment, Ok make sure both your cards are in and if w2k isn't showing 2 cards with monitor controls you might need to go into your bios and change it to read the PCI card before the AGP then it should work then just go into the display setting and set witch monitor is the main one you wish to you.

I've always wondered about this multi-monitor thing, what it's limitations are. Do both video cards have to be the same? Do both monitors have to run at the same resolution and color depth?

No and no.

Both cards need to be on the HCL for multi-monitor use, but you can have different res and colour depth on each (not just two) display.
