I have been waiting for this for months. There are no signs when/if they will release win2k compatible software. I really missed those buttons! I finally broke-down and bought the Logitech cordless keyboard that has all of those features. I am still holding on to the IBM hoping that someday they do release new software.
Mark, I did the EXACT same thing, I bought the Logitech Wireless.
To bad the keyboard software don't work in win2k..
wish they'd release a 2k compatible version, so I can customize my buttons..

I may be misunderstanding your post, but the latest Logitech iTouch software seems to work fine in win2k. If you were referring to the IBM software, then obviously I agree.
