Icons loosing colors

This is a discussion about Icons loosing colors in the Windows Software category; I got this wierd prob on win2k now, suddenly, all my icons are like 16 colors, and they suck! does ne one know of a fix for this? i tried changing resolutions and all that. . . any input would b appreciated.
