Imperialism II demo

This is a discussion about Imperialism II demo in the Windows Games category; Could anyone tell me how I can make the Imperialism II demo run on my NT system (4. 0 with sp6a) When I try to run it, the following error pops up: 'The procedure entry point DirectDrawEnumerateExA could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.

Could anyone tell me how I can make the Imperialism II demo run on my NT system (4.0 with sp6a)
When I try to run it, the following error pops up: 'The procedure entry point DirectDrawEnumerateExA could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll'
 
I have the file DDRAW.dll located in the directory C:\WINNT\system32
 
Please help.

Imperialsm probably requires DX6. You only have Dx3. NT4 will not run it.

Why is the Imperialism II demo then listed as working under NT 4.0 on the NT compatible website?
