Intellimouse Explorer Buttons Issue
This is a discussion about Intellimouse Explorer Buttons Issue in the Windows Hardware category; Cant get two left side buttons on Intellimouse Explorer to work in Games under WIN 2K. Intellipoint 3. 0 is installed and working great in Win2k as is mouse, however left two mouse buttons simply do not function in games such as Half Life and Rogue Spear.
Cant get two left side buttons on Intellimouse Explorer to work in Games under WIN 2K. Intellipoint 3.0 is installed and working great in Win2k as is mouse, however left two mouse buttons simply do not function in games such as Half Life and Rogue Spear. ALSO, ROGUE SPEAR RUNS LIKE CRAP IN WIN2K.

Get the 3.1 drivers from the Microsoft site. http://www.microsoft.com/products/hardware/mouse/driver/drivers_pc.htm
Rouge spear will not run at all under win2k on my computer. I downloaded the patch put it didn´t work on my version.

Don't you need to map those 2 buttons to a key on the keyboard to use them in games?
(for example big thumb button = F1
small thumb button = F2)

#1. Yes you need ot bind them to a key you don't use on your kb. So maybe f11 and f12 that way you can bind them in a game.

The SoF demo recongnized the extra two buttons without the 'map to a keyboard key' step used for older games...
