IR causes beeping in Compaq Armada 7800
This is a discussion about IR causes beeping in Compaq Armada 7800 in the Windows Hardware category; Hi people, I got a Compaq Armada with an Armadastation running Windows 2000 Professional. Everytime, when I plug my notebook into the station, the station begins to beep. If I disable the IR port, the beeping stops.

I got a Compaq Armada with an Armadastation running Windows 2000 Professional. Everytime, when I plug my notebook into the station, the station begins to beep. If I disable the IR port, the beeping stops. But I need the IR port, so does anybody know how to stop the beeping ?
