Joystick disappears as non administrator user

This is a discussion about Joystick disappears as non administrator user in the Windows Hardware category; Win2k 2195 professional. . . I install my joystick under Administrator (M$ sidewinder auto detect) but when u log is as my normal non-admin user it doesnt appear in game controller setup. Any idea how to get round this?.
