Limit on HPT366 on the BP6?
This is a discussion about Limit on HPT366 on the BP6? in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone know if there is a limit on the HPT366 controler? I just got a 40 gig drive and loaded win2k on it. . when i get all done and am rebooting. . . it just locks up. If I move it to the ata 33 controler it works.

If I move it to the ata 33 controler it works.. Also I decited to partition the drive into 2 parts... 30 gig and 10 gig.. When I did that.. it works... Strange. I e-mailed HPT to see what they have to say. But who knows when i will get that back.. If you have any info on this... let me know.

Try flashing the bios to 1.22, I think that was the issues addresed in the update.
