Ok does anyone else have this problem.. i'm hooked up to a dsl line using pppoe to connect... things run fine but in 1-2 days my connection dies and i have to call them to give me a new password, because when i try to reconnect it says bad password. I called ameritech on this they said it wasn't a problem on their end and that they will change my password anytime. But what would cause this on my end?

Thanks In advance!

Never used the lynksys, but i did have this problem on a Cisco 2524, i might suggest restoring it to factory defaults and starting over, tell me if that doesn't work.

OP
That didn't work...so here's the deal.. I called Ameritech (the phone company) again on friday and was on the phone with them for an hour! all the while they are saying its a problem on my end... finally they admit that their server is messed up and thats why its booting my password, and the service should be fixed by Saturady. Sure enough come Saturday my account worked! Thanks for your response though!
