Hi guys,
I've the same rebooting problem with the liveware w2k from creative as a lot of people. I've read that there is a batch file in this newsgroup that first removes the old drivers so that afterwards you can install the new drivers. Now i've been looking through the messages in here but i can't find the file. Or can someone tell me which files i have to remove before installing the new drivers ?
The win2k problem seems to be the emu10k1f.sys file which is created by the new liveware when i remove the file win2k will run again.
Thanks
Marcel

Hi again,
It's solved. I have just run the win2k installer again and then choose upgrade instead of clean install. Run the procedure and then install the liveware 2k. I have done this after searching and rebooting for a while, but i think this is faster win2k will hold your settings so it's only installing.

So, all I have to do is reinstall win2k...which does nothing to my settings or games?
I upgraded my win2k, and now my LiveWare work, but now the PCI to USB controller won't work!
Any Ideas? I haven't touched the drivers!
