My understanding of cable modems(mine in particular) is that it is treated as a lan connection via your ethernet card. Therefore you shouldn't need drivers for the modem. My modem plugs into my network card via an rj45 cable and with proper network settings I am rocking. Yours could be quite different however. Any more info??
