Missing Paperport .DLL

This is a discussion about Missing Paperport .DLL in the Windows Hardware category; Each time I try to install Visioneer Paperport 7600 updates, I get an error that the MAXKERNL. DLL is missing. Anyone know where that. dll should be?.

It should be in C:\winnt\system,sytem32 etc....

Lovely, but, what if it isn't? Any idea where I might get it? There is nothing on Visioneer's site about it and the driver apparently does not include this .dll.

I too have a visioneer, they wont release drivers for win2k till July 1st. ANd Im $hit out of luck, cuz they arent even writing drivers for anything before the 7600. Damnit, pricks. SO I ahve to buy a new scanner.

Well, I've worked around the W2K problem with a software package called VMWare. I'm running a vurtual Win98SE session inside Win2K--therefore, I could use my visioneer scanner but, for some reason, the driver set does not include the aforementioned .dll. If anyone out there has it, please send it.
