A few days ago, I saw here that Money 2000 was supposed to work great with W2K. But since it did not work for me I submitted a note stating so. Now I see it again listed as working correctly, so obviously someone has had some success or did not try it out enough.
 
I have a huge Money 2000 file under NT4.
When I try to open it under W2K, it refuses to open it stating that it cannot be open with that version of Money 2000. (Note that I installed Money 2000 both under NT4 and W2K from the same CD). Puzzled, I tried to open the Sample.mny file that is included and sure enough Money again complained it could not open it.
 
I am running RC2.
 
Now starting using Money 2000 in W2K from scratch seems to work fine but there may be a danger that the data will be unreadable later!
 
So is anyone with Money2000 and W2K RC2 really able to open the sample.mny file ?
