This is a discussion about Mplayer.... in the Windows Software category; Has anyone suceeded in getting Mplayer's type chatting functions to work under Windows 2000? I install Mplayer, I can use Voice Chat, make rooms, launch games, but I cannot type. . . . . . . Maybe I'm missing something.

mplayer sucks. It will never work right with NT systemss i hate it. You CAN type you just have to hold down the scroll bar to see your text like your scrolling through text because for some gay reason autoscroll doesnt work. Then to top it off the text will eventually just disappear and you have to restart the software.

Sorry, man, but some people are saying that Mplayer runs fine on 2000 and NT...so how do I get it working?

i know about 5 or 6 people that all say it doesnt work. Ive contacted mplayer support and they said it won't ever work well in NT.
