This is a discussion about MPS vs ACPI Multiprocessor performance in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone done any benchmarking or comparison of features between a MPS Win2k system and a Multiprocessor ACPI Win2k system? Concerned mainly about overhead of the ACPI system and multitasking benefits to be had by disabling ACPI.
