MSVCRT.DLL
This is a discussion about MSVCRT.DLL in the Windows Games category; I've been struggling to run several games on a new PC that's running W2K. I've installed the apcompat. exe utility but most apps. I try to run come back with the message: error: msvcrt. dll is not compatible with win32s.

Any suggestions would be apprecitated!

You are not going to be able to do anything with that file; it is the C runtime library and is a protected system file. What you can do (maybe) is get a Win9x version of the file and put it in the local directory (Windows tries to find the request DLL in the directory of the app first...it goes to System32 after that).
