Multiboot setting?

This is a discussion about Multiboot setting? in the Windows Games category; I given up on any hope of being able to run games such as Ascendency under Win2k and I have installed Win98 on another partition. I have Win2k on disk 1 (all partitions are NTFS5) and Win98 on disk 2 first partition.

I have Win2k on disk 1 (all partitions are NTFS5) and Win98 on disk 2 first partition. I can got into the BIOS and tell it to boot from disk 2 but can I use the W2K bootloader to boot to 98?

I'm not sure about your boot loader question, but I can run Quake3, Diablo2, and Unreal Tournament on my Win2K box.

[sidenote: I get 2 .dll errors when I start Unreal, but then it goes into the game and works just fine. strange.]

You have to find the boot.ini(usually on C file and modify it, or format everything and install Windows 98 First then Windows 2000 alast (full install not upgrade).

u don't need to edit the boot.ini file just cr8 a ERD and use ur 4 setup floppies and pretend to install win2000 again then when it asks if u want to repair ... choose repair and restore the boot up sequnce.

*u must install win98 after win2k to use this method*
