This is a discussion about Need help... in the Windows Hardware category; I am building a dual Celeron 550 system (NT 4. 0 for now. . . W2K later). I need help choosing the hardware (video and sound cards). What has the best support? I was thinking CL TnT (have it laying around) and a Live! Full.

Yes.
i have the same problem with a vortex2 board i bought a while ago. this was a board made by aureal.......new drivers are comming out any day now...don't know if this will fix the problem though. the same thing happens in quake 2 and unreal.
i'm having problems with my vortex reference card in nt 4.0. quake 3, quake 2 & unreal all cut out after starting the game.....
