I am running win2000 pro, and whenever I run a D3D accelerated screen saver (voodoolights and Sach's marine aquarium to be specific), the screen saver will start, then after about 10-15 seconds, it will boot me back to the windows desktop, almost as if someone has moved the mouse! The screensavers used to work about a month ago, I don't know what the heck is going on here!
specs:
Asus v7700 (tried using many diff. drivers)
celeron 566@850
hitachi superscan 752
win2k pro
sound blaster x-gamer

Have you registered Voodoolights? If not then it will do that. I had the same problem but noticed that the 30 day period was up. Everytime I would start the screensaver it would go back to the desktop a few minutes later. I registered and now that problem is not longer there.
