need some scsi advice plz
This is a discussion about need some scsi advice plz in the Windows Hardware category; I am planning on getting a new scsi controller and 10G or so hard drive for my Win2k system. But I don't want to spend too much on them, hopefully some like around $400 dollar or less. Any advice will be great.

At this pricetag you won't find any satisfying solution...
The only choices I recommend you are (for Win2K) an Adaptec 2940 U2W board and a 9.1 Gb HD from IBM (7200 rpm U2W)
I know the Adaptec cards are far from being cheap, but under Win2K these are the only ones that are working without a glitch.
Ask Yuppyscum or others about compatibility with the iWill or the Tekram boards.
