Need to start q3a or tribes twice to run
This is a discussion about Need to start q3a or tribes twice to run in the Windows Games category; I have a bizzare and annoying problem, I'm running w2k final with a voodoo2 and a matrox g200. Whenever I want to start Tribes or Q3 I have to click to start it, then nothing happens, then I need to kill the game with taskman and then run it again and it works fine.
I have a bizzare and annoying problem, I'm running w2k final with a voodoo2 and a matrox g200. Whenever I want to start Tribes or Q3 I have to click to start it, then nothing happens, then I need to kill the game with taskman and then run it again and it works fine. Strange huh...any solutions? This has happened to me on clean installs and on previous builds of w2k as well.

I have no problem running tribes in glide with my Voodoo 2. Im using the NT 4 and DX 7 drivers for it. The problem is attributed to drivers, though Im not sure for what card. Try getting the latest drivers for each card. you can get them at
