can anyone help me, I have win 2000 installed
on my computer and the other win 98 now is the problem that the network is oke, but when i want to get from the win 98 computer to the network of the win 2000 (the host) i most put in a password , i did not no what to put there because i did not put a password in, so i can log in from the host but the guest needs a password ?????? how can i make this go away. Sorry for my bad english patty

If you want to login to the win2k box make sure you either set the sharing rights to everyone or log in on the 98 box under the same name you do on the win2k box. Say my login is thc129 and pass is bleh. I would just login on the 98 box as thc129/bleh and the win2k box as thc129/bleh. Just make sure both user names are on both systems that should work because it does here at my school when I try to access my box across the network.

Enable the guestaccount in Win2k.
