Which registry fix did you use? Here's the one I use, and it works great: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q138/3/65.asp

i tried both the registry thing and the command (net config server), Win2k still disconnects the connection after approx. 5 mins..., after a few clicks on the networkdrive the connection is back, but thats not a permanent solution.... any other solutions?

Try disabling the Computer Browser service on your Win2K clients.
