Norton firewall 2001 and whistler 2428
This is a discussion about Norton firewall 2001 and whistler 2428 in the Windows Hardware category; I just bought fireall 2001 to use with win2k, but i wanted to use it with whistler 2428 aswell. I read some previous posts and i figured that this could be done, but when i tried it, i get an unsupported os message.

at least it says it's unsupported when the application in question isn't supported, in earlier builds, it just installed, and then did memory dumps.
you could try running it in windows 2000 mode or something.
right now, there is minor problems with that stuff, but that's what RC's are for, and windows 2000 wasn't that great until like RC1 or 2

Thanks but i tried and you cant put it into compatibility mode, the tab doesnt appear on the properties menu. Even if you create a shortcut to the setup prog and then select compatibility mode, it makes no difference.
