NT Comp HW news = ballz!
This is a discussion about NT Comp HW news = ballz! in the Windows Hardware category; I've just seen - on the front page of this site - a news item about a new BIOS for the Matrox G400, but the link gets me to the BIOS dated August 1999. What a bag of wank. Is it too much to ask that the links to new material actually link to new material.

Hm...
Even after flushing my local browser cache, the Matrox page still only shows the 1.04 BIOS as being current.
Most odd.

You might like to take a look at the MURC news centre - http://www.matroxusers.com - there they have news of the latest bios and a link to the ftp server where the new file is located.
Also if you are going to update your card - I suggest you do it from DOS - there have been several reports of bios corruption from people who've attempted an update from windows - probably best to be on the safe side.
