NVIDIA 3.66 is the only drivers that dont crash

This is a discussion about NVIDIA 3.66 is the only drivers that dont crash in the Windows Hardware category; Any one know what the difference is between the 3. 66 drivers and the rest. They are the only drivers i can use that do not BSOD, hard freeze, or kill the sound. hardware is: sd-11 athlon 600 mx300 geforce.

Any one know what the difference is between the 3.66 drivers and the rest. They are the only drivers i can use that do not BSOD, hard freeze, or kill the sound.
 
hardware is:
sd-11
athlon 600
mx300
geforce

There are some known issues with Nvidia cards and the Athlon chipsets. You might be one of the casualties (like me, with an Ali Alladin V and a TNT2 )

The abit ka7 kicks ass, Im runnin my 650 at 800 just fine, and its a .22 micron, I wasnt expecting this out of that die....I had to buy a new cooler, as the stock cooler wasnt cutting it AND I have to leave the side of my case off lol, its not 100% stable, If I do any work or anything for my job, I have to pull it down to 750 to stay really stable, the bios is great, and hell it holds like 2 gig of pc133 memory, agp 4x, what else you want?

I can't see you regretting the purcahse of a shiny new Abit KA7 (KX133).
