Nvidia or Asus Drivers

This is a discussion about Nvidia or Asus Drivers in the Windows Hardware category; I have the Asus v6800 Pure and a dual processor motherboard w/ Win2k. Right now I'm using the Asus 3. 76b1 driver and when I do r_smp 1 in Quake 3 I get a whopping 14 frames per sec. If I take it off I get around 70.

If I take it off I get around 70. Which Drivers should I use now the Asus 3.79b1 or the Nvidia Release Candidate 3.78 Win2K?
